Here I will quote some of the answers I've collected from my asexual survey takers (with their permission). it's important to recognize the variety of perspectives within the asexual community and I hope that juxtaposing the answers I have collected will help people (particularly those who are not part of the ace community) do that.

    littlepaperfrogs asked: Hello! I saw your mention of an asexual couple who was denied adoption because of their asexuality, and I was wondering - do you have any more information about that for those of use who weren't at the conference?

The video only streams, there’s no way to fast forward and as I recall he doesn’t get around to discussing the personal accounts (as opposed to discussing the statistics) until a long way in. Also worth noting that at the begining he says he found a definition for “asexuality” in the DSM and then gives the definition of HSDD (*sigh*). I believe this was the first time he presented this work and in subsequent presentations he significantly improves his wording. I don’t think he has published this research but you could probably find contact information for him somewhere, I just don’t have it handy.
